Welcome Brian Flinn

GT Engineering is pleased to announce our affiliation with Professor Brian D. Flinn, PhD, PE, who will provide forensic analysis consulting through GTE. Professor Flinn continues as a Research Associate Professor with the University of Washington Materials Science and Engineering Department where he has more than 20 years experience.

Dr. Flinn is an experienced forensic consultant who has undertaken many litigation assignments during his tenure with the University. He also has extensive research experience in metals, ceramics, polymers and composites with current research in the areas of adhesive bonding of composites, development of next generation composites with integrated molecular probes, and processing, structure and property relationships in materials for aggressive and corrosive environments.

Dr. Flinn joins our strong materials/metallurgy team, including Dr. Robert Clark, Dr. Russell Jones, and Mr. Dale Clark, MS, PE.

 

Welcome Ed Hardesty

GT Engineering is pleased to welcome Ed Hardesty as Senior Fire Investigator. Ed specializes in origin and cause investigations and and brings more than 20 years of experience to the position. He has extensive experience in fire and arson investigation and has provided litigation support. He has also worked as Assistant/Interim Fire Marshal for Snohomish County.

Under Mr. Hardesty's leadership, GT Engineering will continue to offer cost-effective fire investigation services provided by highly experienced personnel with strong engineering support for root cause analysis. (Download a pdf of Ed Hardesty's CV)
