Electronic Microscopy

GT ENGINEERING provides state-of-the art electronic microscopy services with our Keyence® VHX-500 electronic microscope. The Keyence® microscope, coupled with a color CD digital camera and advanced imaging software, allows high-magnification, high-resolution imaging of surfaces without the use of a vacuum.
Magnification of up to 2500X and an easily-adjustable field-of-view allow unparalleled viewing of surface fractures. Additionally, a high-resolution LCD monitor with a 170° viewing angle allows several people to simultaneously monitor and discuss images in real time. Measurement functions, image storage, and remote-monitoring network capability make this microscope an essential piece of equipment for failure analysis or other investigations requiring materials surface imagery.

GT ENGINEERING offers electronic microscopy as both a stand-alone laboratory service and in conjunction with metallurgy and materials science consulting support.
